About EGOHOOD
Empowering Youth, Shaping Futures.
EGOHOOD is a nonprofit organization helping youth gain real-world skills to start and sustain businesses. We provide the next generation with essential knowledge, resources, and practical experiences for community leadership.
Our Story
EGOHOOD was founded from real-life experience and a passion to help others succeed. As a young licensed hairstylist, founder Jasmine Jackson started her own business with determination and a vision for independence. However, without proper guidance, she encountered several challenges along the way.
After filing business information incorrectly with the Secretary of State, Jasmine faced costly mistakes that required time and money to correct. Even more challenging, many individuals who initially offered support were not there when she needed help the most.
Through these experiences, she realized that many aspiring entrepreneurs face similar challenges when trying to start businesses and pursue their dreams. Determined to make a difference, Jasmine founded EGOHOOD to help others successfully launch their ideas the right way.
Whether starting a LLC, partnership, sole proprietorship, nonprofit, or organization, EGOHOOD provides guidance, support, and resources to help individuals bring their visions to life and build stronger communities.
